Cookie Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026Version 1.0
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on the device of a visitor (computer, tablet, smartphone) in order to recognize the device, remember preferences and collect statistics about usage. Cookies may be installed by Koraly itself (first-party cookies) or by third-party providers acting on our behalf. Similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, local storage and SDKs are treated the same way as cookies under this Policy.
Cookies typically include the name of the issuing domain, a lifetime (session or persistent) and a value. They do not, by themselves, damage the device, and they may always be deleted or refused from within the browser.
2. Cookie Categories We Use
The table below summarizes the categories of cookies used on the Koraly website and dashboard, the legal basis for their use and their maximum lifetime.
| Category | Examples | Legal basis | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session identifiers, CSRF tokens, load balancing, fraud prevention. | No consent required (essential) | Session to 6 months |
| Functional / preferences | Language, currency, theme, accessibility settings. | Legitimate interest / consent | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Aggregated visit statistics, navigation funnels, feature experimentation. | Consent (or anonymized exemption) | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing / advertising | Personalization, retargeting, campaign measurement, social widgets. | Consent only | Up to 13 months |
3. Managing Your Preferences
On your first visit, a consent banner allows you to accept, refuse or configure non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, as they are required for the website to function. You can revisit and change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Manage cookies” link in the website footer.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Refusing analytics or marketing cookies may limit certain optional features but will not prevent you from using the core services.
4. Browser Settings
Most modern browsers allow you to control or block cookies through their settings. The procedure depends on the browser:
- Google Chrome — Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Apple Safari — Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge — Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Blocking cookies globally may degrade the experience of many websites beyond Koraly. We recommend using the in-product consent controls whenever possible.
5. Third-Party Cookies
We work with carefully selected third-party providers who may set cookies in order to deliver the services they provide on our behalf, including:
- Analytics providers for aggregated usage statistics and product analytics;
- Support chat providers for in-product help and live conversations;
- Video providers for embedded product demos and tutorials;
- Content delivery networks for static asset delivery and DDoS protection.
These providers are bound by contractual obligations limiting the use of personal information to the purposes for which we engaged them. Their own privacy policies remain available on their respective websites.
6. Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly use cookies to collect personal information from them.
7. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in technology, legislation or our practices. Material changes will be highlighted through the consent banner. The “Effective date” above indicates when the most recent version took effect.
